Managing Director
Mark has been with the agency since 1991 having previously held positions at Irish international, Bates Ireland and Des O’Meara and Partners. Since 1984 Mark has worked in TV, Radio and print production, media and account service, handling numerous accounts including Roches Stores, Quinnsworth, Dunnes Stores, McDonalds, Johnson and Johnson, Aer Lingus, Volkswagen/Audi and Bord Bia. After 2 years as Deputy MD, Mark was appointed MD early in 2004.
Head of Account Management
Upon graduating from Trinity College Dublin, John joined DDB London through their graduate recruitment scheme. Assigned to account management he worked on a range of clients including Thomsonfly, Johnson & Johnson, Hasbro and Capital One. Returning to Dublin, John joined Owens DDB in August 2006 running accounts with Diageo, Volkswagen, Unilever and KBC Bank. John would be the key contact on all projects and holds a BA in Business & Economics from Trinity College Dublin.
Financial Director
Seamus has been with Owens DDB for over 20 years and is their Financial Director. He and his other dedicated staff in the accounts department work closely with all other areas of the organisation to ensure the best possible value for both agency and clients. Being a modest Tipperary man he reluctantly accepts that the county is the Home of Hurling and the province of Munster is the national rugby team.
Creative Director
Donal O'Dea has been with the agency since 1998 having previously held positions at Arks, Young, Hunters, Dimension and DDFH&B. He has produced a wide range of award winning above and below the line work for accounts that include Bulmers, AIB, Carlsberg, McDonalds, Castrol, Johnson and Johnson, Aer Rianta, Volkswagen/Audi Bord Bia and Waterford Crystal. Donal is co-author of the best selling 'Feckin' books' series and in his spare time coaches kids basketball and football C'mon Marino!
Creative Director
Adrian joined Owens DDB at the start of 2006 after 9 years writing ads for Irish International BBDO. In that time he was instrumental in developing high profile campaigns for a wide range of clients including Aer Lingus, Kerrygold, Budweiser, Masterfoods and Independent Newspapers. Since joining Owens, Adrian has produced many award winning commercials, including ones for Golden Pages, Volkswagen, Friends First and Johnston, Mooney and O’Brien. He holds an MA in English Literature from UCD and a City & Guilds Diploma in Marketing.
Managing Director, Mediaworks
Paul has a total of 27 years experience working in advertising media in Ireland. Having been promoted to Media Manager in 1993, Paul was subsequently appointed Managing Director of OwensDDB newly launched media company Mediaworks in January 1996. Paul is a member of the Marketing Institute of Ireland and The Marketing Society, and is a regular contributor on media related issues to a range of national and trade media, both print and broadcast. Paul can also speak backwards fluently.
Director, Mediaworks
A native of Skibbereen and a B.A. Graduate from U.C.C., Fiona also holds a Diploma in Advertising from the Dublin Institute of Technology. Fiona joined Mediaworks in 1996 as an Account Manager, having already gained experience as a TV buyer in a leading competitor agency. In 1999, Fiona was appointed Account Director within Mediaworks and in 2003 was appointed to the Board of OwensDDB. Over the years, Fiona has pioneered many innovative uses of media which delivered cost-effective results while reflecting favourably on clients. Fiona cannot speak backwards (too busy shopping to learn).
